7.10.21 Saturday Eblast

Happy Saturday North Coast Family,
Summer has always been the most exciting season for my family growing up, and it continues to be for myself and my wife Sarah. One of the most exciting things about this summer for our household is that we’ll be welcoming a second baby into our family!  That’s right. Deacon is going to be a big brother. We can’t wait to meet our newest addition to the family - rounding us out to 2 cats, 3 lizards, and 2 baby boys. Be praying for our family as we are expecting our newest addition mid-August.
But before that happens, we are SO excited to see many of you next week at VBS 2021! Vacation Bible School is one of the best parts of the summer for so many families because our North Coast kids get to spend a week playing games, singing songs, making crafts, and hearing the good news of the Gospel. This year we’ll be taking a trip into the ancient past with Destination Dig, which will take the kids on an archaeological adventure, digging up truths about Jesus and the Bible.
This Sunday you’ll see some decorations up on the stage and around the church in preparation for VBS. Please be in prayer for a safe, fun week for our kids. Also, be in prayer because we have reached nearly 100 kids signed up for camp this year, with many of them not being current attenders of our church. This is an amazing outreach opportunity where kids will be taught about the Gospel, some for the first time ever. We can’t wait to see you there next week!
We’ll also be welcoming our good friend and guest speaker Marc Hagman on Sunday morning. Marc is the Executive Director of the Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center, and he and his family attend NCFF together. He has a mighty word to share tomorrow out of 1 Samuel, so please join us both in-person and online. We’re looking forward to worshiping with all of you and celebrating the time that we have been given to join together and praise the Lord for all that He is doing in our church and our community.
